How many times does tulip bloom in a season from a single bulb?

I have planted a few bulbs of tulips during thanksgiving. They are already beginning to bloom. How many times does a single bulb flower in a season and how long do they normally stay after they bloom? How many times does tulip bloom in a season from a single bulb?
one tulip bulb ususally produces one plant this plant if it is a new bulb generally produces one flower however it can produce more than one flower and the more mature it gets can produce more flowers-basically year after year it produces more flowers but just from one plant. They only bloom once during the year then you let them die and sleep until next spring where they come out again. Their bloom period lasts a couple of weeks and if the weather is a little cooler they bloom a little longer. Bulbs are great in any garden they multiply with age and they are the first sign of spring with their great color and tulips come in such wonderful colors I hope you just continue to ad more to your garden. How many times does tulip bloom in a season from a single bulb?
They only bloom once per season and the bloom last about 2 weeks. Once they bloom and the flower dies you need to let the green leaves or foliage die naturally because it feeds the bulbs for next years bloom.
They only bloom once then you have to wait until next year, thebloom is rather short lived and although they loook pretty I prefer flowers that bloom for months as long as the dead flower heads are removed.
