Hostas !Which perennial flowers bloom in summer and would be good to plant inbetween Foxglove in partial shade?
Hi

I answered similar question to this earlier.

I find aquileigas are good because they go lovely with foxglove and last for ages and self seed so get free plants TOO!!

Scabiosa also very nice.

As someone else answered, there are lots cottage perennials at the moment so do what my friend and i do, go to lots garden centres, check out all lovely plants, have nice coffee and cakes, make a wish list then go to your local nursery and get them much cheaper!! When weather nice it lovely and relaxing...roll on summer!!!!
definitely aquilegia - they area available is so many colours and shapes, and will happily hybridise when you have a few planted. I now have dozens of different versions from about 6 starter plants, and BOY do they self seed!
lupins, delphiniums, verbascum, hollyhocks. Garden centers are full of cottage garden perennials at the moment
Hydrangea, Calla Lillies
lillies(any type really), hydrangea.
Are we talking about back of the border here?

Cimicifuga, esp. the purple leaved ones.
hardy geraniums
I think hosta and columbine , maybe bleeding heart, too, though it is a spring bloomer. What about purple coneflower?
Will Hollyhocks grow in that amount of light? How about Lupins?
