I don't know where you live, but tulips are already up. If you are in extreme northeast, they will probably bloom late March or early April. If you are in the south, you might get blooms this year, but not next year. The leaves will grow, but you will not get any blooms. Tulips do not do well in the south. In the south, it is best to plant fresh new bulbs each year because the flower is already formed inside the bulb. How long does it take tulips to grow and bloom?
Sooner, late March through April
